I am coping fairly well with all my commitments, but would like some more ‘me-time” without having to be there for others I feel strong and in control. I know how to manage my energies to my best advantage and to help others to do the same. I find that I am forgetful, I can’t seem to organise my work as well as I used to. My ‘self-talk’ is mostly negative. I can see that things are piling up, there is so much to do that I feel mentally drained by the list. I am generally strong mentally, but aware that there are areas where I could improve. I need more time to switch off. I am capable and confident. I can organise my work and have a healthy work/life balance. I know what I want and know how to get it. I have no idea where my path lies, or if there even is a path. I don’t have any concept of my inner being, I am too busy trying to survive. I have an inkling that there is more to life than my day to day existence. I have a glimmer of a ‘me’ now and then but don’t know what to do next I know that I am more than my mind and my physical body. I have a connection with the part of me that knows truth, but it could be clearer I know who I am. I know my purpose and I live it daily. None, I barely have time to shower and brush my teeth! I try to have 30 minutes a day to do things for myself but I don’t always manage it. I make sure that I have 3 hours a week for exercise/ massage/ relaxation plus half an hour every day for mindfulness, meditation, journalling. As much as I need, at least 2 hours per day, if I need several days away to recharge my energy I will arrange it. I own my life. Never, I would feel too guilty to do something just for me. Very rarely probably over 3 years ago. I try to have a couple of days away every year. I go where and when I need to go. I never seem to keep them, I say that I won’t take on any more responsibilities, but find I can’t say no when someone asks me to do something, then I resent it. I rarely keep the promises I make to myself. I decide to take a course, start a health regime, then give up after a few days because the rest of my life gets in the way. I mostly keep the promises I make to myself. I usually follow through with courses and health and fitness regimes, but can lapse if there is a lot going on that I am involved in.
